GARDEN & LANDSCAPE DESIGN
A garden design provides a professional and collaborative process that will ensure you get the most out of your outdoor space within your budget.
Our design team will guarantee a holistic service, considering all aspects of your garden, from how it’s used to the careful selection and placement of materials and plants. Regular discussion allows each garden design to evolve organically, and ensures that the final concept is a perfect balance of your wishes and the designer’s professional knowledge and expertise.

The Artisan garden design process
The initial visit allows us to get a feel for your property and the space you’re looking to redesign. We will also talk to you about your ideas and start putting together a brief.
Depending on the size and complexity of the project, a basic or full topographical survey will be undertaken.
The quote will cover all the following stages of design.
It is important that clients are aware of their budget at this point, as this will have a large bearing on the complexity of the design and types of materials used.
Jamie will then meet with you to present the initial concept based on their ideas.
2 to 3 concept designs will be produced based on the outcome of the concept consultation. At this point, clients will have a look at different materials and 3D computer models will be produced.
For the final design, ideas and choices will be refined into a complete and labelled design. Construction and detail drawings with also be provided if necessary and a coloured 3D rendered computer model will be presented.
Planting plan and plant list will be presented.
Will Cooke, our Landscaping Director, will then provide a detailed quotation for the construction. This quote will include the supply of all chosen materials and plants, however guidance will be given on direction of cost as the design evolves.
